Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor

• High school diploma required; degree preferred 
• Experience playing and/or coaching basketball; strong knowledge of rules, fundamentals, and strategy
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor middle school student-athletes (ages 11–14)
• Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills; able to work with students, parents, and staff
• Experience planning and running practices, drills, and games; understanding of age-appropriate training
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and background check clearance
• Availability for after-school practices, games, and occasional weekends; adherence to school and athletic policies
